ilana and i have known each other for awhile. she owns and operates some of the best spas in town, so when she asked about her wedding, i was thrilled to be able to help her! her and vinny got married under a huppah her father built in a park in asheville that was super close to ilana’s heart, and it was just truly beautiful. her colors of champagne and deep red were carried out throughout the event…notice the signature drink offered at the ceremony! as a nod to vinny’s italian heritage, what is more fitting than italian soda?! we are huge on the guest experience…always think of your guests, and what can you do to make them more comfortable. what better way to do this than to offer them a drink as they arrive! rosemary also plays a huge part in their lives. each program, which could be planted, were tied with a sprig of rosemary.

and so then all the guests and the newlyweds were off to the bohemian for the reception!! dylan with blazin sounds did an awesome job of accenting the room with red lights. lights make all the difference in the world! and blossoms at biltmore park hit it out of the park on the floral! here are some of my favorite details shots ~ notice the favors – olive oil with rosemary from the bride and groom’s garden!

once everyone got to dancing, we transitioned the terrace from the cocktail hour, and made it into a lounge ~ complete with an ice luge! and yes, the design…sprig of rosemary carved in the ice! i think it is fun for your guests to see a space that transforms!
