jess and fabio’s wedding was fabulous in every way possible! they loved traveling, especially since fabio is straight from sicily and jess is a southern louisiana girl (all things french + cajun!). the ceremony took place at the gorgeous st. lawrence basilica in downtown asheville followed by the reception at the ever fabulous grand bohemian.
verge worked with them on the planning and design of their bling wedding. initially we started with branches as centerpieces and a darker feel with mahogany chivaris and a dose of vintage but once jess saw a crystal candleabra the glam was on! we switched it up and went for clean white lines and crystals. our color palette played with lilac, darker purple and gray and obviously bling! since jess LOVES flowers, we did a mock up – linen swatches, floral and tablescape design and to say the least we had a great time showing jess a sneak peak to her blinged out wedding.
and let’s not forget the suspended cake! seriously unbelievable, although a little stressful for the wedding planners!
