Summer Weddings in Asheville | Nikki + Bradley | The Design!

We are prepping for some spring and summer Asheville weddings in the studio!  SO.. lets chat about Nikki + Bradley’s summer wedding design!  We showed you all the emotion and love in this post earlier, so now it is all about the details! When designing a wedding, we always want the key words.  The feel.  What do you want your wedding to feel and look like?  For these two, it was Elegant, Romantic, Sophisticated, and Traditional.

The general feeling of the space was of the upmost importance. This was a traditional wedding in the sense that formality should be respected. That being said, we did not want the space to feel stuffy or impersonal. We want the guests to feel as if they have stepped into a romantic, elegant garden soiree by using a lush color palate of mint green, blush pink, champagne gold and elegant neutrals. And just to add a personal feeling to the space, underplayed eclectic details were added… but with the key word being elegant, we didn’t want the space to feel rustic in any way.

Here we go… The color combos we used for inspiration!  We loved that they went with a mint green, in addition to the natural green used in the floral.

I mean…. it’s even in the socks!

These flowers… they were showstoppers.  Think outside the box! And the vase 😉

Let’s just chat about these centerpieces… goodness. Love.

The couple made these menus and information to go at each place setting.  and they thanked each and every member of their wedding team in it.  Now that, is amazing.  It takes a village y’all!

Love this cake!  There also was a doughnut cake… a nod to the groom’s favorite sweet!

Notice the runner?  They match the full linens used at cocktail hour. A nod to tie all the linens together.

Another element we love? The mixture of the centerpieces.  Such a great combination with an emphasis on how it feels sophisticated, yet not stuffy.  See how that ties back to the original design concept?

Honestly, koozies never go out of style.  This is one favor that always gets taken!

Most importantly, we said it before, and we will say it again.  As a matter of a fact, we say it all the time. It takes a village!  Shout out to this village of Asheville Wedding Vendors!
