Megan and Bo had the perfect winter day to wed.  The sun gleaming with a crisp mountain breeze as guest arrived to The Basilica for a 2 pm afternoon wedding started everything off just right.  Photographer Aaron Hogsed knew the hidden areas in the church and captured fantastic shots.  If you haven’t visited the Basilica, it’s definitely an historic site in Asheville you shouldn’t miss.  The title Basilica dates back to early Greek and Roman times and referred to a type of public building.  You’re free to visit the church anytime!  To learn more about the history of the Basilica visit saintlawrencebasilica.org.

The couple hosted their reception at Homewood,  starting at 7 pm.  From the start Megan and Bo knew they wanted their reception to be a fun dance party. With this in mind we made sure we brought “fun” in all elements of the party.  Black, gold, rich reds and greens with stunning floral from Aria Floral,  was exactly the look Megan envisioned.  When the guest arrived via trolley they were greeted by Megan and Bo, Lemon Ginger Martini’s and Chocolate Espresso Martini’s.  Little did the guest know as they turned the corner they were presented with probably “the one and only wedding party tree!”  It didn’t take long for them to warm up and start grabbing their party items!  Megan selected the best linens from Wildflower Linens,  sent all the way from California!  We showcased shantung butter, crusted black velvet and our favorite, black sequins overlays.  The décor and design were hot, Mr. C’s Mobile dj,  had the party jumping, and Megan and Bo were on top of the world!
