A Fantastic Fall Wedding | Tiffany + Robert Are Married!! | Homewood Asheville Wedding

Screen shot 2014-12-07 at AM 11.17.29

If what you want is the perfect fall wedding, look no further than Asheville. Right now we are fully into our winter season, the leaves have all fallen off of the trees, however not so long ago we were in total Autumn mode. Asheville is known for having not only one of the loveliest fall seasons but also one of the longest, and this year was one for the record books! For brides who want an autumn wedding, Asheville offers some unique advantages. I already mentioned the length of the season which means you don’t have to cross your fingers and pray that the leaves are still on the trees on your wedding day, but also, because we’re in the South you get that beautiful New England Fall look without the chilly temperatures that go with it.  So if you want a strapless dress, wear it! And you won’t have to worry about your bridesmaids dying in the heat of the summer.

Brides who choose to get married in the fall are special. They know what they want, they’re not afraid to be different, in fact they LIKE being different, that’s why they’re getting married in the fall! It makes them an Asheville wedding planners dream! Today we’re pulling one from the vault just to show you what we’re talking about.

Tiffany and Robert were married in October, which is peak leaf season in Asheville. They took full advantage of their gorgeous surroundings and had their ceremony outside on a wooded path surrounded by gold light coming through the trees.

The reception was held at Homewood. Homewood weddings always have such an elegant, intimate feel to them.

Tiffany came to us with a good idea of the feel and look that she wanted, there were tons of fun details that we loved. First of all, check out these incredible shoes!

Other details we loved were the rich warm color palate, the custom beer labels they created, and the incredible homemade pies the bride provided!

And can we talk about the send off!? Look at that amazing car!

please be seated 🌿🪑🌿 a beautiful way to welcome your guests!

also, these things just do not line up on the first go 🤣 and the moss wall does not just stand up on its own [thank you @floressenceflowers!] there is math involved, a person on a chair, and someone telling said person on the chair if it is even, and so many push pins! and if it is raining, which it was, you have to make sure the paper doesn't get all damp and not lay right!
we keep saying it, and we will say it again - details matter.

thank you for the capture @rachelandnoahray with @floressenceflowers @lakeedenretreat @professionalparty!
A moment for the cake and the florals 🌸🍰🌸 One thing we always hear - how can we reuse the flowers from the ceremony? if you have ground floral behind the chairs at ceremony, those can be moved during cocktail hour and placed before your guests enter the reception! bonus points if no one sees you do it ;) also... an arbor just c.a.n.n.o.t be moved in its entirety, so if repurposing is important to you, this is something to think about!
